The Process Podcast | Ep. 3 | July | The Reboot

So, I’ve learned a bit thus far from the experiment that is The Process Podcast. For those new to the podcast and blog, a brief refresher will help.

I host The Origin Story Podcast wherein I interview superheroes from all walks of life to understand how they got to where they are today, and to see where they might be heading tomorrow. It’s based on the dual premise that we’re all superheroes and that we can learn from each other’s journeys.

The Process Podcast chronicles my journey.

While I think the first two episodes were successful to a point, going forward I’m using a different frame of reference. During each episode, I’ll take a self – help type book – something that covers an area of my life that I’m working on, and I’ll thoroughly review and use that book to try and better my life. Then I’ll let you know how it went.

Because I’m running the fledgling Pinecone Turkey, attempting to write a novel (research stage), working on being healthier, publishing an anthology of short stories, and still working as an actor and theater founder, the books may skew in those directions. I think there will still be plenty of lessons to learn and apply even if my listeners and readers are not interested in those particular topics.

It’s a journey.

I’m trusting in the process.

The first book to be worked through is Twyla Tharp’s The Creative Habit: Learn it and Use it for Life.

I hope his new frame of reference will be entertaining and helpful.

Thanks for going on this journey with me. If you know of a book I should work through, email me at MHH@pineconeturkey.com.
