Episode 002 – Sarah Hobbs

See Sarah’s work on her website here.

Sarah Hobbs is an Atlanta based visual artist specializing in photographic and in situ installations.

In the last year alone she has been named an Idea Capital Grant Awardee, a Hudgens Prize Finalist, and a Walker Evans Focus Fellow.

Her work has been shown at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, The Pinnacle Gallery of Savannah, Columbus State University, Washington and Lee University, Solomon Projects, Yosi Milo Gallery NYC, and more.

Her book, Small Problems in Living was published by Charta and is available from Amazon and Sarah’s website HERE.

What a joy to speak with Sarah. She is immensely talented and hard-working, and her insight into her process and candor about the core values of her work are something we can all learn from.

I hope you enjoy our chat.
